“Animalis 2023 Exhibition” in Vancouver selects two paintings by landscape and wildlife artist - Harvey Bodach

The “Animalis 2023” is a Jury/Sale Exhibition at the Federation Gallery in Vancouver, BC. The show will run from March 7-19, 2023. Both originals by Harvey Bodach are acrylic paintings on Masonite Board.

The painting “Ascending Osprey during a Georgian Bay Sunset” which measures 30” x 24” was completed in 2020.

“The waters come to life from the splashes of an Osprey as it feeds all day in marshes, streams and lakes. Then at the end of the day this fish hawk makes a final ascent toward the sky and is enveloped in the cascading colours of a Georgian Bay sunset as it returns to its nest. “

The painting “Sunrise Alert - Male & Female Cougar Pair Portrait” which measures 20” x 15” was completed at the end of 2022.

“Sights and sounds of an early morning have caught the attention of this Cougar pair. The dominant male with its ears turned has taken the lead, standing tall and erect, ready to strike. A late summer fur coat is thickening for both male and female Cougars as winter approaches and food becomes scarce.”
