“Into the Wild” - by Deena Dolan

The Escarpment Magazine - Winter Issue just published a cover and a feature article on the artist’s landscape and wildlife art. A number of major paintings are presented, including two which were awarded first and second prizes with the The Federation of Canadian Artists, based in Vancouver, BC. In the interview, the artist is asked a number of questions surrounding the production process of his art. “Having travelled extensively through Canada and other wilderness zones around the globe, the natural world and its wildlife have been a central focus for me”. The article “Into the Wild” by Deena Dolan is found on pages 80 - 88 in one of Georgian Bay’s major publications. It is published on paperback and online. “Birds of Prey” - by Cara Williams

The Escarpment Magazine - Fall Issue did an article on the work of the artist in the field, called,“Birds of Prey” by Cara Williams. The observations by Harvey Bodach were made over a one year period with a local pair of bald eagles in the Thornbury area. There were numerous photos taken, notes and sketches made which capture the complex relationship of this male and female pair of raptors, including a surprise story. See pages pages 46 - 52 for the story in one of Georgian Bay’s major publications. It is published on paperback and online at www.escarpmentmagazine.ca. The artist’s field work and work in the studio can be seen online as both a Flip-Book and a HTML version.
