Shipment of Painting to Elliott Museum in Stuart, Florida for 66th Annual Art Exhibition was successful.
The Society of Animal Artists (SAA) confirmed on July 15th, 2026 that it took delivery of the painting “Home Defence - Bald Eagle Pair and Canada Geese” to be included in their 66th Annual Exhibition - its signature event. This exhibition features a juried selection of 135 world class artists who are all registered members. I am honoured to have been selected for this world class exhibition and competition which starts August 6 and goes to December 11, 2026 at the Elliott Museum in Stuart, Florida.

The Society of Animal Artists is an International Organization based in Colorado which was founded in New York in 1960. It is devoted to promoting excellence in the artistic portrayal of landscape and wildlife with exhibitions throughout the United States. The SAA’s membership, past and present, represents a veritable who’s who of artists from around the world.
I applied for membership back in January of 2026 with the submission of five paintings and was made a “Signature Member”. There are seven levels of membership of which this is the third highest in statis.
Membership Statement for “Signature Member”:
“They are recognized as having attained the highest level of ability in the field of animal art and consistently uphold the Society’s standards of excellence. They are entitled to vote in Society matters and use the initials “SAA” when signing artwork.”
