A New Painting for 2022 Which Highlights the Successful Survival of both the Bald Eagle and the White Cedar in Ontario
The painting “A CLIMBING LANDSCAPE - IMMATURE BALD EAGLE” presents a young two year old immature bald eagle with diverse plumage in transition, clings to life on a White Cedar limb which is fastened to a cliff side rock of the Niagara escarpment.
The eagle has survived its exposer to the pesticide DDT used by farmers and the White Cedar made it through centuries of natural fire storms as well as the spread of human settlement.
The painting is a statement on the survival of both the Bald Eagle and the White Cedar Tree. Both have endured hardships of a challenging environment and each cling to life in a landscape that climbs skyward as a sign for their success.
The painting has currently been sold, but giclée (zhee-CLAY) museum quality canvas or paper prints are being made available. These are individually produced, high-resolution, high-fidelity limited (300 series) reproductions. Additional information can be found by going to REPRODUCTIONS and following the links.
